It mentions our persistent battles over the course of the 7 marathons where we were each trying to break each other down lol... in the end, it brought out the best in both of us!

30 Jan 2025 - 7:59 pm PST (2 months ago) - At the Cape Town airport and going through Antarctica check-in procedures as we speak… almost 6am here and we are scheduled to touch down at Novo Ice Runway at 11:45am UTC… marathon tentatively scheduled to start at 1:30pm UTC. It’s a 6 hour flight straight south after we take off from Cape Town… going to be really loud inside the cargo plane so we’re getting earplugs ;).
30 Jan 2025 - 7:55 pm PST (2 months ago) - Thank you so much to KUSI Channel 5 News San Diego for connecting with me and for airing this story!

It’s summertime down here and quite hot… 87 degrees at the moment. If it stays this way till the weekend, marathon # 2 (Africa) is going to be tough!
26 Jan 2025 - 3:38 pm PST (2 months ago) - It’s departure day! The journey begins… from now until I get back home, I’ll be in the air for over 91 hours on planes and will cross over 16 time zones. Next time I touch US soil will be in Miami for marathon number 7!
